Hello! My name is Christine and I am an Edinburgh based Creative Historian, which is a pretentious way of saying I exist in the overlap of the venn diagrams of ‘The Past’ and ‘Being Artistic’ to make beautiful things.

I’ve had an eclectic career as everything from a costume designer to an astrophysics researcher with a few stops along the way to pick up two Masters degrees, be a research assistant in a hedge fund, and found a biochemistry startup.

Now I combine my data-driven brain with my love for historical fashion to create bespoke historical walking tours, beautiful historical fashion, and events that feel like time travel. I also teach historical dance styles and sewing to some incredibly talented students.
